25 Million Thank Yousclose
Thanks to the dedication and talent of thousands of team members and suppliers throughout North America and their determination to build safe and high quality vehicles, Toyota recently celebrated the production of our 25th millionth vehicle.
Beginning in 1986 with the construction of the Georgetown, Kentucky plant, the Toyota North American manufacturing team now consists of 14 award winning plants across Mexico, Canada and the United States.
A 2013 Avalon rolled off the line in October 2012 at our Georgetown, Kentucky plant to become the 25 millionth vehicle produced in North America. The classic Silver Hybrid Avalon represents 26 years of manufacturing and direct investment of nearly $24 billion in North American operations and 365,000 jobs created in the United States.
