Our Huntsville plant is where we build* the powerful V6 and V8 engines found under the hoods of Tacoma and Tundra pickup trucks and Sequoia full-size SUVs. Since we started production of four-cylinder engines in 2011, Toyota’s investment in Alabama has reached $700 million,** with over 1,150 people employed** at the Huntsville plant and an annual production capacity of more than 500,000 engines.
