Princeton, Indiana may be a small town, but to Toyota, it’s huge. We employ 4,500 people here at Toyota Motor Manufacturing, Indiana, Inc. (TMMI), and our local suppliers employ thousands more across Indiana. Our $4.2* billion investment in the state of Indiana gives us the capacity to build** nearly 300,000 vehicles a year here, including the Sequoia, the Highlander, and the Sienna.

Since the economic downturn began in 2009, we have had zero layoffs of Toyota manufacturing team members. Instead, we used production downtime to reinvest in our team and help our local communities. We focused on training and sharpening our skills. We challenged ourselves to find ways to improve. And we volunteered to help those most in need. After all, this is our community, too.
